Both radios are receiving again, but still showing TG0 and ID0 on two different repeaters on ts1

Could it be that there is something wrong with user ID db? Is the data even taken from there?

The ID data base could have something to do with it however I did load a fresh data base in and that did not help

I am still trying different settings and different things to figure this problem out
On both my open spot and my Open GD-77 Hot spot the TG and the ID show up fine
it is just on the local repeaters (all the same type and network that I can not get
any TG or ID to show up, only TG0 and either no ID or 0 as the ID

I just loaded 4 commercial DMR repeaters in to see how they worked.
I really do not know what type of equipment they are running but they
all worked fine, coming up with the TG and ID

This problem has to be related to the specific repeaters but they work fine
with the factory GD-77 firmware

Mike

In the LastHeard screen do you see any IDs ? Or are they all TG 0.

I.e I wonder if the repeater sends the ID but also then sends TG 0

Also.
Copy the channel to the VFO. Then use the Quick menu to set the TX freq to the Rx freq, which is effectively Talkaround mode.

Do you still see TG 0

I will check about your question of the last heard and let you know. As far as moving the information to the vfo. I have done that and yes it does show tg0
Wait. I have activity, now, let me look at the last heard, ...

The last heard does not show tg0, it is just empty, there is nothing in the last heard at all after a number of exchanges that came up on the screen as tg0 and id0 for both guys talking on the tg

Something is wrong...
After a short period of inactivity, such a screen appears on the HotSpot
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Further observations:
This happens cyclically when another radio sends a frame (APRS, GPS)

It is good that someone else is seeing this problem, at least we can maybe find some common reason for it. I have been trying everything I can think of to correct the issue at least on the code plug side of things and have found nothing that changes the problem. I get it all the time on one set of repeaters so there has to be something that they are sending out that is causing it. This may be the break we need to pin down what it is. This is the data received from one of the repeaters when there is activity and I am getting the TG0 ID0
