I have to do some additional testing, but I happen to have two DMR radios (have an RD-5R as well) and my initial tests are actually showing the correct talk group and not TG0 through several talk groups that I tested with.

I'll keep testing tomorrow with the radio and will report if I see TG0 pop up again or if it appears to be working now, for me at least.

I found a pin out, is all we need is a speaker added?

I have a cheap speaker mic connected. But purely to listen you could just connect a speaker.

Unfortunately I think you need to plug into both sockets for the USB hence the mic and possibly the PTT in the radio stop working

OK

Do you have a USB cable you can cut the end off and solder the whole lot together ?

Yes, if I have to. the Y connectors I ordered are small and my hopes are that I can plug them in to the radio and then plug the program cable in to one side of each Y and my hand mic in the other side of each Y. But if I can not get them to fit I can cut them apart and splice them in to a usb cable

OK.

Let me know how you get on.

I know someone else wanted CAT command functionality, and your cable would allow you do that as well (once we add CAT commands to the firmware)

After 24 hours, I have bad news, but probably not unexpected... after a very quiet day on the DMR repeaters around me, TG0 has reoccurred.

As Ken still has a problem, there must still be a bug.

Its just strange that most people don't get the problem at all, yet Ken gets it all the time.

Once Ken has his USB cable working, I'll need to write some code that logs a load of stuff to USB.

I also think I will probably need to have a log viewer in the CPS to save people having to install a separate terminal program

It is also strange I only get it on ts1 but there is something that is causing it. I still think it may be related to specific repeaters but have not been able to prove that.
