Hi,

I have OPENGD-77 running on a GD77 Radioddity firmware version Jan 19, 2021

It will not save channel details RX freq and Mode=FM and RX only = yes

When Powered off and on settings not being saved on power up, all entered with front panel display

Any info helps. Its a bug I assume

Changes to settings are permanently saved by pressing SK2 + Green. If you are pressing the Green key on its own then the change is only temporary.

Left side has top to bottom PTT = black, SK1 = Black SK2 = Blue all buttons on left side of GD-77

Changed the settings

From both the channel details and main channel screen, I saved via SK2 + Green got a quick double beep different tone each beep

Powered off.

Powered On

Didn't save settings. either way in channel or at main channel screen

Was able to save others via CPS only and not front panel

Hi,

I would strongly suggest you to install a newer firmware (like the latest release or beta version).

Hi Daniel,

Upgraded per instructions, current version is:
-----------------
OpenGD77
Built
17:00:14
May 29, 2021
[ 487bfe2 ]
------------------

Still not saving channel details changes with manual front panel entry and saving with SK2 + Green button. Not saved after Powering off/on.

CPS will also not read it from radio via cable, any other ideas?

Best,
Jeff

Weird...
Can you share your codeplug, and tell me the channel you're trying to modify (and which settings, at once), this way I could test under the same conditions.

Also the upgrade is fantastic, appreciate the efforts! Easy update process, both Firmware and CPS. I chose manual file from download I believe in CPS for firmware, it may have asked for the box stating that the 3.4.6 button/box is for FM only, it will then ask automatically for the OpenGD-77 binary file after choosing manual latest date 3.4.6, great integration with the Radioddity piece of firmware. Thanks!
