buttons stopped working

hi everyone, all of a sudden some of the buttons on my gd77 have stopped working, including the green button.
also UP, LEFT, RIGHT, 1 2 3 4 5 6 dont work
I tried to reinstall the firmware and the codeplug and now I have a screen 'settings update OK', but pressing green does nothing and my radio is now stuck on that screen.
Any ideas please

Hummm, maybe you need to reseat the flat flex between the two PCBs ?
