When is a filter condition? When is outgoing data?
I have a guess, but ..

Repeater mode?

They have no effect between two radios, no filtering.
I set anything in the places above.

It’s difficult to understand your question but I think you are asking about timeslots and simplex operation between radios.

When operating simplex (direct mode) between radios the timeslot is not relevant. Timeslot filtering and timeslot selection will have no effect, this is normal.

OpenGD77 does not support dual capacity direct mode which does use timeslots.

Yes, timeslot is only important when you are using a repeater.

Just a matter of programming?

There is a simplex mode that does use timeslots. It is called dual capacity direct mode. Many radios do support this including the original GD77 firmware. However it is not available in the openGD77 firmware.

DCDM is used by commercial users to get two conversations on one channel because each channel costs them money.
For amateur radio use where we do not pay for each channel there is little benefit and so there is not much urgency to develop it.

It is on the ‘to do’ list but there is no-one working on it at the moment.
