Battery percentage incorrect

Post by g1euq » Thu Dec 05, 2019 2:45 pm

I find on the latest "stable" firmware version the battery percentage readout is incorrect so reverted to the previous version and all is well, reading 100% and 8.4 volts on the radio, the stable version doesn't seem to read above 8.0 volts and the appropriate percentage, hope this is an easy fix, anyone else got this bug ???

Hi! It would be better if you read or search before posting, but anyway, here you go: Battery voltage percentage fluctuation

Hi, thanks for the reply, I had already seen that thread on here, I'm just wondering why I have one firmware version that behaves as I think it should but another previous version that never reads above 84% and 8 volts and the latest "stable" version never reads above 8.2 volts and 92/94% , all on a battery just off the charger ??? I can only surmise that the mods made to get the middle version I have correct have not been carried over to the stable version ??

Stable version is too old, considering speed of development. You can use latest, don't worry, although beta, it is good for daily use.

I thought the stable version was the latest, have to admit I find it hard to keep up with development !!!!, I know things change fast with this fw but some kind of identification number would be good :)

The firmware info screen now has the build date and also the Git commit code

Thanks Roger, that's good to know, when I get five I'll check the versions I've been using and see if I can sort something out :)
