It's sporadic for me too. Regularity is difficult to determine. Sometimes there is one Rx per hour, but sometimes it can lose two more at once.
I'm using eco level 0, but every level has the same missing Rx.
The radio can also sometimes decode noise as in the link:

Hmm, I noticed that I sometimes receive transmissions from some DMR repeater that is somewhat similar to what you heard, but I have to
analyze more in detail what is sent at that moment, maybe with a RTL-SDR and DSD+ in parallel.

I thought it was some other mode from the repeater that leaks through, I've heard it on both MD-9600 and RT3S.

Why didn't I come up with this ;)
I turned on TYT and SDR RTL in parallel.
It took about 20 minutes for TYT to appear "noise" while the SDR played the normal voice.
Once Rx missed was also in the same time.

I seem to have encountered the same situation, is there any follow-up progress on this problem, thanks

I've seen something similar on my MD-UV390.
RSSI bar comes to life, green LED lights up but no voice is received. Not in monitor mode, not with all set to filters off manually.
But there is something audible on FM that sounds like faint DMR.
Hypothetically, if someone used encryption on a ham relay, how would the relay deal with it, would it allow the transmission?
I'm assuming the baseband IC would not attempt to decode this as audio, could this be a possible explanation?

Looks like another digital mode, as you mention an Ham repeater, it could be an MMDVM one (hence, plenty of other available modes).

You seem to be right, I just checked, the relay indeed is a MMDVM.
But the manual states:
In DMR mode the signal meter will only be active when the DMR hardware detects a DMR signal.
So I guess that either the manual or the code should be adapted.

True. Update is on its way.

I got same situation on RT3S(CPU: STM32) and DM-1701(CPU: TYT) for a long time. This problem has never been present in the previous generation device like RD5R or GD-77 with same channel configuration.

Any difference between Opengd77 and Original software?
