the ccs software cannot see my .csv file.
Does it need a particular name? open office needs some input i choose ,
just cant see file

Yes, the CPS is looking for specific files. Try to export and you will know the names of the files.

Because the CPS has to create multiple files e.g. channels, contacts , zones, APRS etc.
It would impractical to ask the user to name each individual file during export and select each individual file during import.

Hence th CPS asks that user for the folder into which the files should be exported... You must have selected a folder , otherwise the CPS won't have exported any files

wow that was simple thanks so much. next step to put some usable info into the files. I was trying to load one file at a time !!
