New installer download location?

Hi,

am I correct with the assumption that all new CPS releases are stored and shared as individual links on proton drive? What's the reason behind that? Did Google flag the OGD77 website as malicious again? Would appreciate a short explanation about that decision .

thanks for the reply. Yeah certainly, you don't have to provide a reason for that decision. I was just curious, as it randomly happened when newer CPSs rolled out and I wasn't expecting the download location to change. Which is a bit unfortunate, as many tutorials and how-to posts still point to the old opengd77 URL path to grab the "latest" CPS (for example for the Installation Information for the UV380s/DM1701s/RT3Ss). I liked the fact everything was available from the opengd77 server without being dependent on external services. But I guess there's a good reason behind that and I respect that to be kept internal.

We have no control over external sites.

Rather than containing direct download links, those sites should reference the CPS sectiuon of this forum, which is where information about the latest CPS including its download location is posted.

I guess one can just reference to the CPS section of the forum without an actual download link of the CPS.
