I've no idea if this is even possible but downloading the latest firmware using the firmware loader saves a lot of time etc by not having to search for it, could this also be done for the CPS ?? Like have something in the about section of the cps for "check for updates" and the ability to update to the latest version from there.
This is only an idea, I know you have shedloads of other stuff going on

It could be done, but as the CPS doesn't change that often, so it would be a lot of work for something that wouldn't get used very often
