CPS R2023.09.03.01 - object reference not set to an instance of an object

Feedback on CPS R2023.09.03.01:

Just flashed one of my RD-5R and all went smoothly as always. Didn’t select an additional language as I run all devices in English language.

Moved on with a RT3S, yet flashing the latest beta FW (2023-09-03, ZIP version) continuously failed. CPS pop-up window error message: „Der Objektverweis wurde nicht auf eine Objektinstanz festgelegt“ (English: „object reference not set to an instance of an object”).

De-/re-installed the latest CPS - no change. Also tried with a DM-1701 – same error message.

Yet as soon as I select an additional language (i.e. German) the flashing works flawlessly!

As for now it seems that “color-screen devices” require an additional language to be chosen to succeed with firmware flashing.

Tried the above multiple times with same result. Anyone can confirm?

Confirmed, the same happens here.

Unzipping and flashing the .bin file works for a single language but not the .zip file.
