Personally I love the long press up to run the scan... ;)

For me a difference is that I have hundreds of channels. Rather than manually configure my radio through the CPS I've written scripts that convert the regional repeater coordination database. I'm sure if I had only a few dozen repeaters configured I wouldn't mind losing the ability to scroll up and down through them quickly.

My use case is less common.

Whatever we do with the UI it won't be perfect for everyone, but because its open source, everyone is free to build their own custom version to suit their own needs.

For most people using the long press on the Up arrow is the best UI. This also includes the large number of people who seem to have faulty Orange buttons

Sigh, my orange button works fine, but seems like every day my blue button gets harder and harder to make work. :(
