Only happens to my GD-77?.
I just updated and in memory mode, dmr channel, it remains in the same slot.
Channel 1 (slot 1)
Channel 2 (slot 2)
If I change memory channel 1 to memory channel 2, my gd-77 remains same slot.
if I change it through the "*" key, it changes slot
(TS filter is on).
Thanks

Remove the TS override (long press '*').
Cheers.

In the Display Options, change the Info setting to show when the TS is overriddenEC7AJT wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 5:40 pmHello everyone.

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
Juan
I often have the same problem, where I expect the TS to change, but it does not because I have manually overridden the TS (by pressing *) and the manual override currently takes priority.
In previous versions, the manual override (*) has equal priority with the Contact TS override, and this suited my operating style more than the current priority setting.
However, many other operators said that the manual override must have priority, hence why it now operates like it does.
The only way to suit both groups of operators would be add another Option, but this takes a lot of space in the ROM and the Voice Prompt memory etc, so is probably not worthwhile

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
I've realised there is a bug in the last Beta which will prevent the radio turning off if the radio gets the "CAL DATA ERROR" when booting up.
So if the radio won't turn off, just remove the battery.
But the CAL DATA ERROR only normally occurs when someone load the firmware onto a radio for the first time and the radio has invalid calibration data.

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
Just a quick note to say that I loaded the 1/19/2021 firmware release into one of my GD77's yesterday and ran it most of the day. It behaved fine with all the usual tasks I use it for. This morning I loaded the same firmware into my second GD77 and it is behaving fine as well. Looks like a nice release that is working problem free for my usual analog and DMR uses.

Thanks Rob
This version should be one of the more stable and bug free versions, as it mainly focused on bug fixes, and useability issues

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
• Play acknowledgement beep if pressing SK2 during DMR Rx changes the TG, TS or CC
• Play short beep at the start of a DMR Rx signal, on voice prompt level 2 and above, if the Rx TG,TS or CC does not match the current TS,TG or CC
Thank you very much especially for that, it solves a lot of possible confusions.
BTW, is the TS change by SK2 press during DMR Rx considered a manual change and overrides the contact TS when falling back or is it just a temporary change as one would expect? I'm currently out of a DMR coverage so I cannot test that on my own.

SK2 sets the manual override, there isn't a back button for this.OK1TE wrote: ↑Sun Jan 24, 2021 8:00 am• Play acknowledgement beep if pressing SK2 during DMR Rx changes the TG, TS or CC

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created
I'm getting an error that statesGD-77 not connected, however the cps sees the radio and can read from it. this only happens when I try to upgrade the firmware any thought?
