I've released a new Beta version
https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/ ... 1.02.13.01
This version is potentially less stable than previous Beta releases, as there have been a number of internal changes, not just the bug fixes etc.
There is 1 new feature of the "Eco Level" as discussed in the power saving thread
https://www.opengd77.com/viewtopic.php? ... =30#p13256
Eco level is defaulted to level 1, which provides some reduction in current when the radio is idle
Level 0 is no power saving. Level 4 is max power saving, at the the expense of some responsiveness to incoming signals.
I've done extensive analysis, and Level 2 , 3 and 4 will provide more battery life than the official firmware.
Level 0 draws less current than the official firmware with its Power Saving mode disabled.
Level 1 takes more current than the official firmware with Power Saving enabled (which it is by default), but is more responsive than the official firmware, and takes a lot less current than the last stable release
PS.
I have not had time to update the Voice Prompts or the non-english language text files on GitHub yet.
I will do that very soon.
Edit.
Language files have been updated
https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/ ... /languages
Edit 2.
Voice prompts have been updated, but all languages currently have the English prompt for "Economy Level"
