fix for gd77s dmr hang

Dear Daniel,
I understand that you have fixed the dmr hang on the GD77s. I'd really like to incorporate this fix into the blindGD77 fork for the rest of those users. Would you plese consider sending me a git diff of this fix privately to
joestephen@skymesh.com.au
This branch has probably 50 other fixes and enhancements specifically aimed at those with dexterity issues and of course those who are blind.
