I've just uploaded files for a new public beta

This version has various bug fixes.

The order of the menu's have also been changed to make the satellite functioality etc easier to access.
The User Guide has already been updated or the modifications to the menu system, including the sub menus for the Options, and the merging of Credits with Firmware Info. etc

VERY IMPORTANT..

You MUST use the new CPS to install this version.

Roger and Daniel,

The new CPS loaded the 9-14-2021 firmware perfectly. Both of my GD77 radios are running smoothly. I like the new menu arrangement very much. Everything I do with my two radios is working very well.

What message do you get ?

I loaded today's beta on my RD5r, everything seems to work okay, but is Suspend mode supposed to work on this model? I don't see it's settings in the menu.

Suspend mode is not available for the RD-5D because of hardware limitation. It has a real power switch which controls the main power.

Just to elabourate on Daniel's post

The GD77 and DM1801 have extra electronics which the RD5R does not have.

These elctronics, (A FET and resistors and a diode), allow the CPU / MCU to control the master power to the radio, even if the power / volume control is turned completely off.

The RD5R does not have this.
