Have you not fixed the modem mode? In this version of the Public Beta, hotspot mode practically does not work. After receiving a call, the USB port stops responding.

Ferrite beads on the cable ?
Looks the USB has re-enumerated (a well known problem with RF getting back to the USB bus).

Power of 1 Watt. I returned the firmware 2021.10.02. Everything works on it even at 3 watts with a standard antenna.

Since you're also using Windows MMDVMHost, have you experienced such problem ?

What version of MMDVMHost are you running ?.
What version of Windows are you running ?.

Worked fine on W10 using MMDVMHost, using an external antenna.
Using the antenna on top of the radio I often get reboots when the USB cable is connected, so I always use the external antenna.

I compiled MMDVMHost from sources, about 2 years ago, and have not updated it.

I just compiled the latest MMDVMHost under Windows (
g++.exe (x86_64-posix-seh-rev0, Built by MinGW-W64 project) 8.1.0), and it works fine with the latest beta firmware.

Greetings, I'm using this new version for 2 days, the radio restarts but without erasing the screen or crashing, I only notice because it plays the startup sound and when I go to the radio information the date and time return to the initial format. my radio is the dm5r
