After changes.
Regards.

Thanks for the update.
There is one wrong entry, you translated NSEW (which are the cardinal points for North, South, East and West) to "Kierunek"
I would expect 4 letters ;-)

Just send the 4 correct characters here, I will modify your file.

Cheers.

This is been discussed many times.

Chinese is not possible with this firmware, because it does not support double byte characters.
Also because the fonts are stored as part of the firmware in the MCU ROM, not in the external Flash memory, there is not enough space for Chinese bitmap font characters.

The MCU ROM is 99.9% full just with the programming code for functionality.

Hi,

Thanks for the update.
I had to change the following lines, as they didn't fit in the screen, with the value next to it:

Code: Select all

-.temperature_calibration = "Lämp kalibrioint",
+.temperature_calibration = "Lämp kal.",

-.scan_dwell_time = "Skannaa DWell",
+.scan_dwell_time = "Skan. Dwell",

-.battery_calibration = "Akku. Kalibrioint",
+.battery_calibration = "Akku. Kal.",

.scan_on_boot          = "Skannaa Bootissa",
+.scan_on_boot = "Skannaa Boot",

-.time_calibration = "Aika Kalibrioint",
+.time_calibration = "Aika Kal.",

-.timeZone = "Aikavyöhyke",
+.timeZone = "Timezone", // F1RMB: Translation is way too long, get back to English

Cheers.

Hi, the fixed lines are ok, not sound funny. :) as there was no note how many chars can be used I used max 16.

True, but we don't always have time to write the comments in the file. And you still have the firmware itself (English) to check where it is and if it fits into the screen.

Cheers.
