New GD77 Beta - May 17 2022

Post by VK3KYY » Tue May 17, 2022 3:18 am

New functionality from Daniel F1RMB

"Safe power on"

This functionality prevents the radio being accidently turned on, e.g. when the radio is an a backpack or using the belt clip, where its common for the power + volume knob to be rotated by contact with other things in the backpack etc.

If this function is enabled, SK1 must be held while turning the radio on, otherwise the radio won't turn on.
Technically the radio immediatly enters suspend mode if SK1 is not held

The firmware with this feature can be downloaded from here

Hi everyone, I know this is not a topic for here but I am interested in the meaning of watta power. I understand the power ratio when the power is set to 50 mW, 250 mW, 500mW, 750mW, 1W, 2W, 3W, 4W, 5W. My question is what does it mean or what power is set under the + W - option?
I apologize in advance, and thank you for your response.

After uploading the latest Firmware version ...
How do I go into DMR?
I have already tried all the keyboard combinations.

I forgot to point to the original software - my fault. Sorry
