DM1801 Empty Satellite list, even after installing KEPs

I have a DM-1801 which I have been using OpenGD77 on for ages. Today, i tried the satellite option and after setting date and time, the predicting status bar appears for a very very small flash, and then a blank screen remains. Pressing the menu button from here displays "Pass: None"
Pressing down shows Empty list and pressing down again shows the satellite freq. screen with 0.00067 R and 0.00000 T.

To me, it seems as if the keps are not installed, however I have certainly installed them. When I install via the CPS, "CPS writing keps" appears on the screen.

I am using the latest stable release, however the same issue occurs on the latest beta.

Sounds like you use the wrong CPS versions.

For stable you must load the keps data with an older CPS.

For latest beta you must use the latest CPS 2023.08.18.01

Good, I was not sure which of the available versions that was suitable for old stable.

Maybe the team should add a readme file in the download directory,

I've updated the CPS link in the Stable Relase post, to

downloads/CPS/Old_Releases/OpenGD77CPSI ... .25.01.exe

As that version should work OK.

Old releases got blocked by Google Safe Browsing, becuase possibly someone reported them as a virus. So we removed them, and may not be able to reinstate them.

Why aren't you using the latest CPS release? We never removed any functionality from the CPS , so everyone should use the latest version becuase it has the most bug fixes etc

Sams vk4kdf resolved the issue by using version 23.08.10.01 insteead of the last release and i wanted to give a try, by uploading keps with the latest release the sat list remains blank.
