Source codes

Post by kunicki » Wed Feb 22, 2023 5:09 pm

Is it possible to download the latest source codes of software somewhere? I would like to experiment with various changes on my radio and then compile it myself.

They get released when the firmware is stable. At the moment the sources for the MD-9600 and MD-UV380 haven't been released. I'm also planning on experimenting with a couple things and creating a custom UI when they get released ;)

And whether at least some old version of the sources can be downloaded somewhere. Or alternatively, could any colleague make one available?

The source code is available with the stable releases at

downloads/releases/

Only the GD77 code has been released. The code for the newer radios is not yet stable.

A new GD77 stable version has been created

The GD77 sources are here

UV380 and MD9600 versions are still in not stable and it will be some time before the source code is clean enough enough to be released
