Re: DM-1801 Cheatsheet
1750 tone is FM only. DTMF over DMR is not currently supported, as its not simply a matter of encoding tones using the codec, DTMF over DMR uses special data packets
Re: DM-1801 Cheatsheet
Thankyou - updated.
Question:
- FN up/down also clears the boot image and tone (as well as changing Zones). Is this a leftover from earlier dev ?

Re: DM-1801 Cheatsheet
Argh!! yes - its the radio reset that removes the image and not the function+up/down.
Alas it looks like the section in the manual under Resetting the Settings is out of date
Additionally holding the Blue (SK2) button as well as the Up arrow and Down arrow keys , resets any custom boot melody and custom boot image that has been uploaded using the OpenGD77 CPS.
Re: DM-1801 Cheatsheet
I think I'm zeroing in on it. (Original post updated)
Not sure about PTT+ S1 = Last heard. I can't test this right now (lockdown and no DMR nearby). Can anyone explain ?

Hi,
Cheers.

When you're TXing, pressing SK1 (and holding down) will display the last heard list.
Cheers.

Thanks - updated - Not sure if anything else to add ??
Re: DM-1801 Cheatsheet
Found some shortcuts - Fn+1,2,3. Added to sheet in First Post.
Wondering what else would make a good shortcut ???
- Fn+4: Cycle Scan modes (Stop, Pause, Hold, (Loop?))
- Fn+5: ?
Question:.
Fn+S1 temporarily swaps VFO Rx for Tx in FM mode. Maybe it should be just Tx to Rx ?
Reasoning:
I think primary use is for repeaters. I.e check if you can hear the talker on the input channel so you can then go Simplex.
Not sure of use case for DMR, probably the same? but I think most Amateurs use DMR to use internet to make long distance connects, and Emergency network.
But if Fn+S1 just copied the Tx to the Rx (so Tx freq is on both) then that might be more "correct" as Transmitting would still work on repeater (Yes its a tricky hand manipulation to do that so not really sure this is a good idea) . Of course both work in practice.

Re: DM-1801 Cheatsheet
Probably best not to include things for SK2 + NUM KEY, as the long term plan is to make these user configurable.
We have a few SK2 + NUM, but these were experimental assignments
There is currently a PR to make these configurable, but they would get overwritten even time the codeplug is uploaded, which is not ideal
The optimum solution for SK2 + NUM requires big changes to the CPS, which I don't have time to undertake at the moment (and possibly never will have time)
