OpenGD77 Firmware Install

Greetings! I have searched for this without luck. When I follow the instructions for putting the OpenGD77 firmware on my 1801, I get to the point that it should start writing the firmware, but it just sits there. I left it for 45 minutes with no change and finally had to kill the program. The cable I’m using works just fine for reading & writing programming data to/from the radio. Thanks!
