CALIBRATION DATA

Post by Ea1imw » Fri Apr 24, 2020 11:35 am

Hello guys.
Could someone provide me with the calibration data for the MD-1801?
Thanks friends.

This was the backup of the calibration I originally took from my DM-1801

We currently have problem on the DM-1801 and RD-5R in that the master reference oscillator calibration value required for the OpenGD77 seems to be different from the value normally in the calibration.

We are currently investigating this

Thank you very much, VK3KYY.
However, if someone has a custom calibration for OpenGD, I would appreciate it if they share it.

What do you mean by "custom" ? You can change calibration values by yourself using the OpenGD77CPS.

Cheers.

I mean, if any fellow can backup their DM-1801 calibration data and share it. The problem is that mine is corrupted and I would like to update it with one already tested and functional.

Okay. Roger gave you the backup he made, here is the one I made.
Bear in mind that once you flash any of those, you need to properly recalibrate your transceiver as master oscillator/frequency/power will be off.
Don't forget to make a backup of your calibration, even corrupted, first.

Cheers.

LOL, you're right. Seems I've made a backup before the firmware made a copy of the original location.

Here is the new backup.

Have a nice day everyone!
Dear Sirs!

I'm interested!
For me, my family has several Baofeng DM-1801.
I am now getting acquainted with the OpenGd firmware and CPS program. Nice, exciting!

Do I understand correctly? That with OpenGd
on radios can only 1W and 5W transmit power be calibrated at different frequencies?
The other 50mW, ... powers are fixed relative values.
But can't these ratio numbers be given any other way?
There is indeed a large variance in the output power on different radios. Completely non-linear values.

Is it possible to get the selected transmission powers to the same value? Can these ratios be changed? Not in frequency range! Only the ratio is for example 250mW, ...
Measures Surecom SW-33Plus.
I am happy to provide original measured data if it may be of interest.

Thank you for your answer, thank you for your hard work!

Zsolt
