Alpha version available for download
Re: Alpha version available for download
I see everything but when I make a codeplac and load it into MD9600 he doesn't see it
Re: Alpha version available for download
The CPS you mention is a very old one.
You need to download the latest version as stated in the instructions.

Re: Alpha version available for download
When I read the codeplack it says to me: Your codeplug user 16 channel
It will be automatically updated to 80 channel zones.
Pleas check the Zones to unsure the update worked correctly before
saving or uploading the codeplug
with this CPS/Firmware_Release_20220228 ... .23.01.exe
When I read I'm not smart anymore what the problem is I have and gd 77 with it I have no problem with MD9600 problem

Re: Alpha version available for download
I managed to solve everything, the codeplac must be inserted several times, after each one the voltage must be switched off and switched on again not on the device itself, but the device's power supply must be switched off.
Now everything is working properly, thanks for the help.73 de 9A3LJ-OE4GZ

Re: Alpha version available for download
Have the Alpha version of 5 March 2022 up and running. So far working as expected in both analog and DMR. I do have an issue with the power up / on of the MD9600.
When I leave my shack I normally power down my radios, and also as a last step power down my switching PS that powers the radios on my bench. This is where I currently have the MD9600 running the Open FW. The issue is when I return and power on the switching PS for my bench the MD9600 also powers on instantly.
I am hoping this can be changed that when power is applied to the MD9600 it will wait for press of the green power button before booting on.

Re: Alpha version available for download
Power off state is not currently remembered, the radio will immediatly power on when supplied with 12V.AA3RP wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 9:34 pmHave the Alpha version of 5 March 2022 up and running. Also power off is not low current. In power off state the radio still consumes 50mA at the moment.
Re: Alpha version available for download
Understood and this is just the Alpha version. So the final question is, Is the desire to remember the power on / off state when power is applied for the stable release?VK3KYY wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 10:08 pmPower off state is not currently remembered, the radio will immediatly power on when supplied with 12V.AA3RP wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 9:34 pmHave the Alpha version of 5 March 2022 up and running. This would not be difficult to programAA3RP wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 10:12 pmUnderstood and this is just the Alpha version. However its more difficult to write the firmware to reduce the current to < 1mA when the radio is "off" aka standby.
i.e the power button is not a physical switch, its just a key like any other key on the front panel or the mic.
