ALPHA version - Known problems
Re: ALPHA version - Known problems
thanks, that explains the constant settings update
Re: ALPHA version - Known problems
Okay, thank you very much for the answer, I'll leave the radio on, 73
Re: ALPHA version - Known problems
Unfortunately the backup battery is only charged when the radio is turned on Blame TYT for yet another bad design idea, as the MCU memory only consumes a few micro amps, so it would make more sense to charge the small backp battery from the main battery.
Even when the battery is fully charged it only keeps the settings for about 3 or 4 weeks.
I am going to change to using the Flash memory for storage, but there are problems with the CPS when I do this
Re: ALPHA version - Known problems
sounds daunting, good luck, in the meantime ....I won't be turning it off anytime soon

While scanning a list of FM analog repeaters, I get ones that I choose to ignore. I can't seem to make it work correctly on my RT-3S or perhaps I'm not selecting the correct keys to disable the channel.

I tried searching and reading the release announcements but couldn't find that the RT3S was fixed, I found that MD9600 got the fix 20230228.
Re: ALPHA version - Known problems
Yes. The memory problem is fixed on all STM32 CPU radios
