I just compared the power output when using the official RT-3S/UV380 firmware, versus the OpenUV380 firmware, and the power output on both 2m and 70cm were not the same.

Its likely that the power output is higher than it should be

Please check your own power output, and don't use any power levels which are in excess of 5W

can we do a manual calibration via the CPS ???? or its better not touch !

At the moment there is no way of adjusting the calibration without going back to the factory firmware. We are considering ways that this might be done.
The difference between the factory and the openGD77 firmware is not great, so it is unlikely to case any problems. However if you wish to be cautious then don't use a power setting greater then 4W.
