Did you try the button under the PTT and up/down Arrows?
(seems to work for me)

Thanks Luca, you're 100% correct.
I was able to toggle the E/W for Longitude by holding the button under the PTT and simultaneously using the up/down button to toggle between options.

Thanks :D

Thanks, I see that now.
I suppose there are nuances in the user interface which may be counter intuitive given the fact that your trying to maximise support across a few different iterations of hardware.
I'll keep that in mind for future if I get stuck.

I installed this version on Tytera MD-UV380 GPS and it worked right away, the radio is really performing and I'm very satisfied with it. I thank all the team that works on OpenGD77, they have revived this radio that I have been using for 3 days without any problems, congratulations!

Dzień Dobry wszystkim. Mam problem z moim RT3S z softem gd77. Mam ustawiona grupę odbiorczą a i tak pomimo tego słyszę osoby nie będące w tej grupie odbiorczej. Czy jest załączony jakis monitor?. Pozdrawiam
Opengd77 has promiscuous/monitor mode by default
But it can be changed via the quick menu

From the manual
The firmware can use the TG list to filter the incoming DMR signal, or it can operate in “Digital Monitor Mode” (aka promiscuous mode) all the time. This can be set in the radio quick menu setting for Filter and DMR filter.
Filter in DMR mode

Use the Right or Left arrows to select:

None: for no filtering, i.e. promiscuous mode.
TG: to filter by the selected Talkgroup.
Ct: to filter by Private Call Contacts in the codeplug.
RxG: to filter by Talkgroups in the TG list / Rx Group list.

On RT3S left and right in menus is the rotary knob.

Quick menu is SK1 (top button) + Green.

"ALPHA 2022 11 29"
Happy New Year!
RT3S restoring the default settings of the OpenGD77 firmware alone.
All three of my RT3S's started out of nowhere restoring settings out of nowhere every time I turn on the radio.
I haven't had this problem yet with previous firmware versions.
I'm going to restore flash memory and install the original firmware, then I'm going to reinstall OpenGD77 "ALPHA 2022 11 29" for further testing.
Hi!
You don't need to do this. Just take care of the radios more frequently and charge their main batteries with radio power on and operate them more frequently.
The problem is that there is a small (really tiny) backup battery in the radio, which discharges quickly (a few weeks) if the radio is not powered on. OpenGD77 stores its configuration data in the RAM backed up by this battery, so if it is discharged, it loses the data and initializes. You will find this problem with original software as well, but because they store the config data in flash (Codeplug), the only thing you'll notice is that the radio will not keep RTC.

With regards / 73,
Pavel

Dncarrijo....

You need to recharge the backup battery.

The only way to do this is to leave the radio turned on for a long time (24 Hours).

This will of course also flatten the main battery, so you can leave the radio in the charger to avoid this.
