If anyone knows and can guide me I would appreciate it.

I just wanted to drop in to say thank you to the developers for this latest update and for cracking the code in getting OpenGD77 working on the TYT MD UV380 and UV390.
I first installed OpenGD77 on a Radioddity GD-77 and immediately knew it was a superior firmware.
Well that has been proven yet again on the TYT radios. Frankly the stock firmware is AWFUL,almost to the point of being unusuable, almost. You can use them, but it's not a pleasant experience. Frankly, I kind of regretted buying my UV380 and UV390, less so the UV390 because it's rugged, but still I didn't enjoy using it.
The OpenGD77 firmware is a game changer for these HTs and I will NOT be going back to stock, as there is nothing to be gained by doing so (some may argue dual monitoring, but it doesn't work that well, when compared to acutal dual tuner radios like the FTM-300D by Yaesu). The color options are icing on the cake and I have a new found appreciation for these HTs now. Not to mention scanning is so much faster!
So thanks all, you have done a major service for the HAM radio community.
