Hi,

I'm sorry, but I can't really make a picture of your setup, can you give more details?

Cheers

It's still a bit opaque.

So, have you a hotspot, MMDVM ? Simplex or Dual ? Connected to à RPi running à PiStar ?

Yes, I have 1 time simplex and 1 time duplex and no connection is established with my anytone or retevis original firmware, it just doesn't work with the gd 77 firmware for rt3 s

Okay, hence it looks to be a codelug problem, on the anytone and original retevis devices.

Cheers.

Check your codeplug settings, like frequency (of course), no RX/TX frequency shift for simplex channels, color code, no talkaround /workalone/etc options in the genuine CPS.

Cheers.

Here is the solution to all your problems, the manual on how OpenGD77 works.
