[User mistake] Error "bug" when editing a DMR contact

When editing the name of a contact, when all the character fields are filled in until the end, it is no longer possible to edit it, the editing is blocked.The selector stops working.

This also happened in previous versions.

This is not a bug.
As the editing is not overwriting, there is no more space to add any character, hence you have to delete at least one.

If you fill them all in and save... Then you delete 1 and the selector locks and won't let you delete any more.
It only lets you delete the last one.

Explanation of the whole process.
1º I edit the name and fill in all the characters... and save.
2º I edit again and with the selector I go to the last character and delete with key 0 and save again.
3º I edit again and try to change the name and the selector is blocked, I can't edit, it only lets me edit the last character.

Delete is SK2 + rotary

You can delete text with SK2 (Fn) + Select Knob

Or SK2 + Left Arrow on radios that have Left/Right arrow ( P1/P2 on DM-1701)
