Thank you for the very detailed response! It would be in the best interest of the companies making these to send you guys schematics. I bought my RT3S just because this project exists and I know of at least a few people that have bought OpenGD77 compatible radios for the same reason. They would likely sell more radios and make more profit if they ditched their internal firmware development and just shipped OpenGD77 installed along with promoting and supporting your team.

hello. With this new firmware the aprs stopped transmitting. I don't hear the aprs sound anymore either. When I access the Channel Details the APRS option appears “INVALID”
Did you update the CPS etc
Perfect. I updated the CPS software and it’s working perfectly again.

All functionality is documented in the User Guide. If something is not in the User Guide then the firmware does not have that functionality.

I noticed that the volume adjustment signal for this radio is sent to the mcu, which controls the volume. Therefore, the official firmware can display the current volume on the screen.
It would be great if we could also have the volume displayed on the screen. :D

Also, it would be nice to see time and date on main screen.

Why don't you use the knob to mark it with a reference for the audio level, as a reference?

Thanks for all the great work! This firmware has enhanced these radios greatly in my opinion.

If you take feature requests, I do agree that a volume indication of some sort would be quite useful. A bar or just a simple number (1-10 or something) when adjusting would be great.
