Need help with Retevis RT3S

I have installed OpenGD77 on my Retevis RT3S.
I have a pi zero based hotspot with a MMDVM attached. Connection between radio and MMDVM is RF.
The radio obviously receives because the Last Heard is being populated with Callsigns and names but nothing is being heard from the speaker. And there is no info being displayed on the main screen.
Am I missing something?
Is Opengd77 able to do RF DMR?

Any pointers/help, before I throw the radio in the bin, would be appreciated.

According to the details you gave, it could depend on the filtering you have enabled (like "DMR Filter" value, default is "None").

I don't think this is the problem, but did you download and select the official / donor firmware as part of the installation process?

Does the radio display "DMR" in the top left of the screen?

Yes DMR is displayed at top left of screen. I looked at IPSC2 desktop and was seen transmitting. But no display other than the top line AND
TG595 AU CALL
HOTSPOT

I followed the advice about CRC Filter and turned it off now have receive audio. Maybe I inadvertently changed something else I don’t know or maybe the gremlins abandoned the radio

Sorry, but you still skipping to answer, and give more details.
What is displayed when something you receive a transmission ?
What filtering have you defined ?

FYI, DMR+ don't send TA.

Maybe you could read the manual, or reset all the settings to their default (SK2+Power ON).

Yes I downloaded and selected the correct donor firmware. I followed the instruction on this forum for the RT3S

I now have the radio working. I did a reset on the radio. One thing I did change was the RX AGC from 0 to +3 and got audio. Before I had the volume setting at 50% according to indicator but no sound until I changed AGC.
