This is great stuff! Wonderful documentation. When I bought the DM-1701 on the Baofeng flash sale, I was kind of disappointed. But with OpenGD77 this machine rocks! So much more functionality and control. Thanks!
Re: 2023 Stable release version including source code
I just picked up a DM-1701. Can you point me toward the right directions/firmware version for the 1701?
thanks,

Re: 2023 Stable release version including source code
Congratulations on another milestone release of a stable version!
Now that the whole licensing issue has been resolved (this code base is clearly and unambiguously licensed), would you consider uploading to and using a public repository again? There exist many GitHub repositories with the name OpenGD77 and random older versions of the code, which make the whole situation very confusing. It would be great to have a single genuine "official" code tree, correctly licensed, for the current version, making all of the others obsolete. Hopefully it would encourage people to submit meaningful updates and overall add to the functionality and ecosystem around this wonderful project...

Re: 2023 Stable release version including source code
What's the correct way to import these source files into the STM32 developer program?
I can't find how to change the target between MD-UV380 and DM-1701 and the various md-9600 versions.
I found it somewhere under project in the earlier source but I can't find it now.
By default I got the binary for MD-UV380/MD-UV390 and MD-9600 HW version 2 when I used build all.

You need to open an existing project from the filesystem.
For the build target, like on Eclipse (same for MCUXpresso, as it's also Eclipse):
