RT3S power on "morse" callsign

Post by VK1VLV » Sat Apr 13, 2024 1:27 pm

Hi,

Just curious, but does anyone else hear the callsign VK2GZ in morse when turning on the Retevis RT3S?

I don't recall this happening prior to converting to the OpenDG77 firmware. It's not an issue, just curious, and wondering where the callsign is being generated from, i.e. the radio itself, the firmware, or the Codeplug. I have entered my callsign and radio ID correctly, so not sure why I hear VK2GZ.

73 and thanks

If you load back the codeplug from the radio you can see
it in opengd77 extras
