Hi,

go to the parent section (Board index / Discussions / Localisation), link is displayed on top of this page, then you have a post in the Annoucements subsection.

Cheers.

I've worked with similar UI frameworks in the past, and I totally get the nuances of managing text lengths and substitution chars. Ensuring translations fit within UI constraints is always challenging, especially on devices with limited screen real estate.

I am handling a project for a local company in Romania and have subcontracted this software localization service that deals with this part for me. If someone wants to get rid of some headaches, I recommend them.

Hi guys.
Many, many thanks to Roger, Daniel, Colin and all the people involved in the OpenGD77 project for the great and tireless work!

Here is the new updated Italian.xml for the latest released CPS.
Italian.xml.zip
Italian.xml.zip
New updated Italian.xml
(13.62 KiB) Downloaded 75 times
A question, if possible.
I know I am dumb as hell and it was probably already explained, but I missed it and I could not find anything about it: what about wordlist_italian.csv, Italian.h(color) and Italian.h(monocrome)?, how would it be planned to update those files now that the firmware package contains the .gla ones?
I apologize in advance for the question, hoping to have written in the correct section, otherwise please sorry.

73 best regards de Fabio IZ2EIB

Hi guys,

In german.h i could not 100% translate the .aprs part because the short character lengths, i have no solution at the moment - sorry.
