A Practical Radio Model We Can Actually Build

I found that the chip in this machine is the same as the one in the 1701—both contain identical main control chips, HR-6000 chips, and an AT1846S. However, this machine only has one encoder. The front panel layout is the same as the TYT-UV380.

Porting the GD77 firmware to it will turn this into an even more fun walkie-talkie!

I really like the design of the DM-X, compact like the 1801 TYT-M760 but with a larger screen.

I hope it can be portable. We're tired of the 1701 380/90.
