Not that I need another ham radio ( I currently have 6) but I was thinking about buying a Chinese radio this time around. Before I do, some time back a club member told me the latest software upgrades for his Chinese ham radio allow him to work AMSat without adjusting for doppler effects. Apparently the radio automatically adjusts for the doppler effect has the AMSat flies by. Plus there were several other upgrades that made working AMSat fairly easy.
Is this true? And which Chinese radio has all these wonderful AMSat tracking upgrades???
