Hi Bud
That sounds great.
I'm surprised that there are not already other hardware related TGs e.g for the MD-380 Toolz guys etc
I think folks have always used other established TGs. For Ty's MD-380 toolz, the discussion was always on DMR Track TG (I forget the number).
Dialing up BM 977 now...

Hey folks- I did some checking with BM admins and using the TG number 977 "may cause some issues" even though it is currently unused (presumably because of the length of the number). However, if we switched to 98977 (also unused) it would be OK and we could get it labeled "OpenGD77."
I propose we move the TG to BM 98977 so we can get it labeled and set. What does everyone think? If we go this route I can take care of getting it named.

Ok all let's make sure Roger and the dev team are all good with using 98977, then we'll transition over there and I'll request it after that. I want to make sure everyone is on board first. But let's let them wake up over in Oz.

I don’t mind what the TG number is.
It’s a sham we can’t used a shorter number , but that’s OK.

Yes I wish we could just use 977 but it might cause some issues.
So let's go with 98977. I'll do what I can to get it named. In the meantime, spread the word.

BTW
Technically TG 977 was working just fine.
I think the BM admins just probably don't like user groups using TG numbers with not very many digits
