my 1801A just arrived, but trying to put in firmware mode nothing happens, someone who can help me to install open gd77 on my dm1801A?

Possibly Baofeng have re-engineered the DM1801A like they have for the DM1801

Normal process to enter firmware update mode on these radios (GD77, DM1801 V2 etc) , is to hold the 2 buttons on the side (not PTT), and turn on the radio

However, Baofeng have completely re-designed the new DM-1801 and it is not compatible and perhaps does not have a firmware update mode.

so No possibility for open gd 77 ?, I bought it specifically for this, to install open gd 77, holding down the two low keys under ptt does not enter download mode Windows Do Not Recognize the programming cable , the cable is the same for baofeng uv5r

If Baofeng have now changed the internal hardware on the DM1801A, then there is no possibility it can be supported.

Contact the vendor and complain that they did not correctly advertise the radio as the new version
