Any tips on how I can get my windows 11 machine to connect to RT90 spent a good few hours at it now and getting frustrated.

It has worked on my Windows 11 laptop, but it can be good to disable automatic driver update as STM has issued another
driver for the same USB device id:
Driver Name: oem25.inf
Class Guid: {88bae032-5a81-49f0-bc3d-a4ff138216d6}
Driver Date: 05/07/2018
Driver Version: 1.1.0.0
Driver Provider: STMicroelectronics
Driver Section: USB_Install
Driver Rank: 0xFF0001
Matching Device Id: USB\VID_0483&PID_DF11
Outranked Drivers: oem38.inf:USB\VID_0483&PID_DF11:00FF0001
Device Updated: true
Parent Device: USB\ROOT_HUB30\4&24981db5&0&0

Device USB\VID_0483&PID_DF11\00000000010C was configured.

Driver Name: oem38.inf
Class Guid: {36fc9e60-c465-11cf-8056-444553540000}
Driver Date: 04/26/2018
Driver Version: 3.0.6.1
Driver Provider: STMicroelectronics

Driver Rank: 0xFF0001
Matching Device Id: USB\VID_0483&PID_DF11

FYI

The DFU driver problem is a result of the CPU manufacturer ( ST Micro, aka STM) completely changing their DFU software and driver , without considering all the firmware and PC applications which use their DFU system

STM supply the driver to Microsoft , who bundle it with Windows, and Microsoft also have it on their driver update server.

To complicate matters, the Windows 10 update server holds the old driver, which works, but Microsoft's Windows 11 update server holds the new driver which is incompatible.

Even if we completely rewrote the firmware loader to work to with the new driver, it would not work for anyone using Windows 10 or previous versions of Windows.
And to complicate matters there are no examples from STM of how to use their new drivers with C# language as used by the CPS

And if we did switch to using the new driver, Windows 10 users would need to update to the new driver and this was would stop another device radio related programs from working e.g. the official firmware installers would no longer work
