Does the official DM-1801 firmware support this ?

I didnt know the DM-1801 has a FM broadcast receiver chip in it. The RD-5R has this, but we can't use it, because its an unknown Chinese made chip with no documentation

The DM-5R and RD-5R don’t seem to use that chip.

The one in the radio has a completely different part number and does not respond with the same identification code ( 0x58 )
