If the Anytone UV890 is real, none of us will be worried about the buggy GD88 anymore.
I will still be interested in it mainly because I already own it. I only need the editors to get worked out. The two available are buggy and throw errors on anything beyond a very basic config file. As far as functionality, it does fine for what I need it to do. I will not be considering any Anytone radios if they do not get the editor fixed, or open source the code. I understand one of the editors is from a third party and I appreciate that, but at the end of the day it is the responsibility of the manufacturer to get the software right. If they don't have the talent to do it, open source it. Some of us can actually write code.
