Tyt9600 mic to hotspot

Ok I want to use the tyt9600 as a hotspot, my only question is the a specific cable from the mic plug to the raspberry board or do I just use the programming cable to plug into the raspberry, like u do in the MD uv380

Yes.

Just use the USB programming cable that came with the MD-9600 and plug it into a USB socket on the RPi.
(This is actually just a normal USB A to mini USB cable, it's nothing special)

Don't forgot to enable the hotspot in the menu i.e set it MMDMV if you are using PiStar on the RPi
