The error is that the DFU driver and radio is responding with an error to the STDFU_SelectCurrentConfiguration command
Unfortunately, this functionality is contained inside the DLL files from STM, and not something which we have control over.

How old is your radio. What model is it? UV380 or RT3S ??
My radio is TYT MD-UV390 non-gps model. I don't know exactly how old my radio is as I bought it second hand. There is no timestamp on the radio and its box.
But in CPS, I can see that the radio is "hardware version V03.00". And the serial number stars with S/N:2008N00***.

I do not have this radio

I am not sure if the firmware will install on the UV390

I thought someone posted to the forum saying they have installed the firmware onto a UV390, but I searched again, and I can't see any posts confirming this.

The firmware loading onto a UV390 may be different to a UV390 even if the hardware is identical

That is the same version driver that I am using. So it is unlikely that the driver is your problem.
If the radio is not connected or is not in DFU mode then the error message is different. So presumably your radio is being seen by the driver.

Do you have another computer you could try? Just in case something strange has happened with the driver install.

Yes, that's a good point. I will try with another computer as you suggested. And I will inform immediately.
Hi

try this version - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gITDj6 ... sp=sharing

good luck

Thanks for the driver link. I was able to update the driver version to 3.0.6.1. I can read and write codeplugs from the original CPS. I was also able to re-flash the original Firmware. So the driver is working.
Unfortunately I was not able to flash firmware in OpenGD77. I got the same error. I guess my device doesn't support OpenGD77. And maybe another MD-UV390 user can confirm it.
I am also going to try with a different computer.

Thx for having your time, all.

AFIK. The driver is not used for the official CPS, only to load the firmware.

There may be some difference in the firmware loading into some UV390 radios, but as I don't have that radio I have no way to know what the problem is

Hi all! Best Regards!
Please help me! I need working MD-UV380 WORKING OpenGD Firmware.
I Tried many of of the Firmwares from this forum, but no one working at all (Station is not Loading)
My station is TYT MD-UV390 NO GPS!
Many Thanks!
Firmware is not designed to work with the UV390

One person posted on this forum that the UV380 version works with their UV390, but another person posted that it was not possible to install the UV380 version on their UV390 using the OpenGD77CPS

Currently none of the developers has a UV390, so the UV390 is not supported.

As radios cost money, AFIK there are no plans for any of the developers to buy a UV390, just to confirm whether the UV380 firmware works or does not work on this radio.

Hi! I have an MD-UV390 GPS and it worked for me. Just to be sure, are you loading OpenMDUV380 with the OpenGD77 CPS? Don’t use the official firmware loader. Also, what happens exactly? Does the firmware get installed and the radio doesn’t turn on, or the firmware doesn’t get installed at all?

:?: Dear Friends! Finaly I loaded Opengd77 Firmware on TYT MD-UV390! But I have 3 questions:

1. Is it possible to make two channels listennig at one time and/or to show Twice (A and B) on screen one time?
2. How to make screen on when the channel is active on digital mode?
3. MOST IMPORTANT ! How to make a activity LED on top of the radio color change when your transmition is confirming by the receiving side. (Transmition is hearing and you working with Hotspot or Repiter)

I hope this questions will be useful for all.
Hope for a quick reply,
Best Regards!

:?:
1. SK1+Green and select "Dual Watch" (only for VFO, it's not possible to monitor two channels at once, unless you copy the frequency to the VFO using the option in the quick menu, SK1+Green)
2. If you're monitoring a digital channel and only the LED turns green but the screen doesn't turn on, that means that it's receiving a signal but it's not DMR, or the sender is using another TG and you have a filter enabled, etc. I don't know if that is what you meant :?
3. When the led changes to green to confirm that the signal was received, it's due to the repeater tail (the repeater keeps transmitting the carrier for a couple seconds when you stop transmitting, so you get a confirmation that the signal is received). I don't think hospots have that option (I've never used a hotspot actually, only repeaters). So this led colour change depends on the repeater, not the radio, as far as i know.

There's a manual on github: https://github.com/LibreDMR/OpenGD77_UserGuide
