Re: DM 1702
As i said in some other thread - You have 11 radios that support OpenGD77; I think that is more than enough and I believe most of us would rather see actual development of the FW further than expanding on "99" other stations, as both take a lots of free developers time. I believe that if you cannot effort or you don't want to change the station etc., is not a good reasion to ask developers to port fw to another station.
I will give you a simple question. What is baofeng 1702 better than md uv 380 or rt-3s, both are avalible on a market? Thank you for you answer in advance.

Re: DM 1702
I’m sorry I think you have me mixed up with someone else. I’m new to this forum. For the record I don’t have 1 radio the supports OpenGD77 and there’s no thanks here.
Re: DM 1702
I'm sorry, I was doing reverse engineering of dm1702 before, and made some progress in firmware encryption and decryption, but unfortunately, since Mid April, I have to suspend related work, because my company needs to develop new product and often work overtime, which made me lack of spare time.
DM1702 Reverse engineering and porting work will likely continue around July to August. This is a device worth looking forward to. Its full-featured version with GPS is only about half to 2/3 the price of RT-3s, and as far as I know, there are at least 5 variant models ( Different brand or different case appearances but the same motherboard), it seems the market holds a large amount of this product.

Re: DM 1702
Thank you for the information. Once you’ve started and have a beta version and you need someone to test it for you I’d be more than happy to help in anyway I can.
Re: DM 1702
It's cool that you still have the desire to work out the DM1702, I myself own this model and I know a couple of hamradio who also have this and if you ever manage to realize the OpenGD77 version of the DM1702 it would be much appreciated
Re: DM 1702
I really don't get it. 11 different types of radios that support opengd77, and you want one more????
