use of buttons

Post by f1trf » Sat Aug 26, 2023 10:17 am

Good morning

I would like to know the name of the side buttons.
On the record SK1, SK2, and SK3 will be from top to bottom.
If I read everything correctly, this is not the case on OpenGD77.
Can you help me ?

Hi,

From the top to the bottom:
  • Orange
  • PTT
  • SK1
  • SK2
Cheers.

Did you check the User Guide before posting

https://github.com/LibreDMR/OpenGD77_Us ... r_Guide.md
The Baofeng DM-1701 | Retevis RT-84 does not have the Right and Left array buttons, P1 is used as Left button, P2 is used as Right button. The Orange button is located above the PTT. In menu screens the Up and Down buttons move up and down and the rotary control is used to control the value of each setting, in the same way that the Left and Right buttons do on the GD-77

I sure did, I think you missed the part about "no orange button". But thanks for your reply anyway.

On my DM-1701 the 'Menu' button is above the 'Up' and 'P1' buttons, and likewise the 'Back' button is above the 'Down' and 'P2' buttons
