Accept call? ID:4000 on disconnecting, help!

Post by G0NHF » Thu Feb 13, 2020 5:34 pm

Every time I send a 4000 disconnect request to my pi-star on brandmeister, I get a message on screen saying ‘Accept call? ID:4000 Yes/No. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to stop this happening every time I disconnect?

Thanks, Tony

Agree with M1DYP. Set Allow PC to Off.

The option may actually be a misnomer. It basically turns on or off the notification for private call, and not private calls itself.

Thanks a lot. That definitely sorted the problem.

Can you guys re-enabled private call acceptance, and try this version.

It teats any incoming private call as something special if the source ID is less than ID 1000000, which as far as I can tell is the lowest real DMR ID.
All ID's below that value seem to be special purpose ID's , hence the radio will receive the call but does not prompt the operator to ask if they want to accept the call.

it works.....
I only noticed some brief noises before the computerized voice of the TG 4000, before hearing the parrot voice of 9990 and before every radio communication. I put back the version of February 12th
Thank you

Hi SaL.
Did you happen to have the TG filter enabled?
Thanks!

Looks like my post triggered this fix.

I really do appreciate this improvement. It really works well.

Thanks Roger!

It’s perfect now.

no, I noticed that it only does this when I use hotspots, if instead I use repeaters it doesn't make any kind of noise. Does it do that to you too Fabio?
