New CPS 2024 05 24

Post by VK3KYY » Fri May 24, 2024 1:46 am

A new CPS is now available

Changes in this version:

* Added download error detection for satellite Keps
* Prevents unsupported CTCSS and DCS codes being manually added to the dropdown menus, because even if codes are added to the menus they are not supported by the hardware or the firmware
* Firmware loader for STM32 MCU based radios e.g. UV380/DM1701/MD2017/MD9600 now fully erases the entire MCU (CPU) before installing the OpenGD77 firmware, to remove any traces of the official firmware, to avoid possibe conflicts between the official firmware and the OpenGD77 firmware

Thanks to Daniel F1RMB for producing this version

Thanks for the work on the CPS. It's working mostly great for me.

Maybe this has been covered somewhere else that I haven't found where reading or writing the radio asks me twice every time to enter my COM port. I'm running Windows 11 ARM on Parallels on my M1 MacBook Pro. Is there a way to provide a default COM port to use so I don't have to keep selecting it every time?
