Re: Alpha version available for download
nice work!
The buzz not coming anymore, but now it is high pitch sound even more annoying and it comes between setting 1-90% only when 0 or 100% it is not coming at all, and screen dimming stopped working. it will not dim anymore, so that function is basically only on/off switch now.

Re: Alpha version available for download
Which hardware version is your radio and which hardware version did you install
Re: Alpha version available for download
Sounds like you are running the V1 firmware on a V2 radio. That will not dim correctly.
The Backlight PWM frequency is now 11KHz which is high enough to not be audible on most radios. However from your previous video your radio seems to have an unusually load buzz. So you may still hear the higher pitched tone, especially if you are using an external speaker.

Re: Alpha version available for download
i have radio version V2.1 read on pcb, and KEY(screen) PCB v4.0 as posted pictures before. the screen dimer is not working at all now. on older version 2HW firmware was working with the buzz.
i did used V2 firmware, not V1. i just opened windows PC to check out file name, and that is ..V2HW.BIN file

Re: Alpha version available for download
an update: i tried V1 now on V2.1 hardware it seems work dimming how it suppose to work, there is high pitch tone now, but not bad as v2 firmware. also screen is at 8% off, so setting 0-8 is screen off 9% is first dim setting till 100% so it is improvement.
so what else could happen as using now wrong firmware?

Re: Alpha version available for download
You are not running the wrong firmware.
The V1 firmware is exactly the same as the V2 firmware except for the dimming.
All early radios had the V2.1 board fitted. At a certain point in production TYT modified the backlight circuit on the front panel, so the main board remains the same.
Because it is not easy to tell which version people have we suggest that people to first try the V2 firmware, if the backlight dimming doesn’t work then use the V1 firmware.
Differences in the hardware between radios mean that the low brightness end of the adjustment is unpredictable. The exact point that the backlight will turn off will be different for each radio.
Colin.

Hello.
There were problems after installing the latest firmware.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GIQ1Lj ... sp=sharing
After the firmware I try to make changes to the settings, they are not saved. When I try to control from the microphone, the radio freezes and stops responding to the buttons.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1U-lwu8 ... sp=sharing
Only a power restart helps.
Latest working version

My radio version 2.1 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Mf7pF_ ... sp=sharing
I ask for your advice.
